Low Range or High Range Kit?

Selecting a sizing kit can be pretty straight forward, but if you don't have an idea of what your size may be or want a ring for a finger that you don't know the size of, you may not know which kit to choose. In this scenario, you can use the method below to help you find your size range.

Measuring your finger with a piece of paper

Use the image above for reference

Step 1: Choose the finger you want to size.

Step 2: Grab a piece of paper and a pair of scissors and cut a small strip of paper that you can wrap around your finger.

Step 3: Firmly wrap the piece of paper around your finger.

Step 4: Make a mark where the paper overlaps.

Step 5: Measure the length from the mark in centimeters. Avoid measuring in inches as it can lead to inaccuracies.

Step 6: Convert your measurement from centimeters to millimeters by multiplying it by 10. This is your circumference.

Example: 6.8cm x 10 = 68mm

Step 7: Take your circumference and subtract 4 from the value. Take note of the number you get.

Example: 68mm - 4 = 64mm

Step 8: Take the number you got and divide it by 3.14. This will give the diameter.

Example: 64mm/3.14 = 20.38mm

Step 9: Take the diameter and compare it to the closest matching size below.

Example: 20.38mm is close to size 10.5 (20.20mm)

I think i'm near a size 9/10, what kit should I choose?

Both sizing kits overlap each other so there's no cut off between the kits. The low range kit ends at a size 10 while the high range kit starts at a size 9. In this scenario you can choose either kit. If you think you may a size 9 or 10 but have other fingers you think may be under a size 9, choose the low range kit. If it’s the other way around and you think your other fingers may be larger than a size 10, choose the high range kit.

Recommendations For Using The Sizing Kit

The best time of day for trying on rings from our sizing kit would be during the afternoon/evening, preferably some time after lunch and before dinner, in a room temperature setting.

Large meals, alcohol, and spicy/salty foods can cause your fingers to swell and affect how your test rings may fit.

Using the sizing kit

When your kit arrives, you'll be presented with a bag full of rings with a variety of sizes to pick and choose from.

Find a ring that fits nice and firm over your finger. You should feel some resistance when sliding the ring over your knuckle. If your ring slides on and off your finger with little to no resistance, its too large. If it’s too difficult to slide the ring over your knuckle and feels really tight, it’s too small.

If you're new to wearing rings, it may feel awkward and tight at first. This feeling is normal and will subside within a week or two after consistent wear.

After you've chosen size, we recommend wearing it for an hour to get a good feel of how it fits. If you're satisfied with your size selection, you can text the phone number on your card with your order # and size, and we'll begin making your ring.
